Thanks to all our readers for your wonderful reaction to our bumper ‘Galaxy Macau’ issue in May/June featuring our in depth interview with Galaxy Vice-Chairman Mr Francis Lui. If you haven’t yet read it, all the articles are on our website wgm8.com.

For July/August we’ve got yet another fantastic issue of World Gaming for you. We’re very excited about our cover feature, “Fate in the cards: understanding baccarat trends”. Baccarat is the main game in Macau and Asia generally, and those red and blue baccarat trends that slither their way across each table’s electronic display have been a mystery to many. Not any more!

For all of you who love to bet on football we preview the betting for the upcoming 2011/12 EPL season, and select our best bet for the premiership. We congratulate Li Na on becoming the first ever Chinese tennis player to win a Grand Slam singles title, contemplate Barcelona’s dominance of world football and preview the arrival of MMA (one of the world’s fastest growing sports) to Macau.

Back in the casino we learn to play Fortune three card poker, continue our series on how to win a baccarat tournament and The Tiger tells you all the latest on new electronic games. Then we head over to the poker room with our newest regular column, the Railbird Report, which will keep you up to date with all the news and previews on the Macau, Asian and World poker tours. We learn to play deuce-to-seven triple draw poker, play the Sunday Million and sit back to soak up the tale our very own James Potter’s lifelong poker journey.

Finally, I couldn’t leave with mentioning one last very special article within these pages. Over the last two years our readers have come to know and love The Panda’s restaurant reviews. In this issue, The Panda reviews Macau’s only Three Michelin Star restaurant, Robuchon à Galera at the Lisboa casino. I won’t spoil your dinner, but let me just say it is a must read.

Until next time, follow the dragon!
