It will also boast two “feature” events – the HK$11,000 Main Event starting on Saturday 2 December and the HK$22,000 APT Championships starting Wednesday 6 December. The Macau Billionaire Poker Room at Babylon is quickly becoming a home of international poker tournaments, with the room comfortably fitting 40 tables and the recent MBP Hope Cup Main Event easily exceeding its HK$20 million guarantee with a field of more than 800 entries. APTCEOJeffMann said hewas excited to have secured a permanent Macau home for the popular tournament series for the immediate future. “We are delighted that the APT will be a permanent tournament poker feature for at least the next five years in the world’s gaming capital,” he told WGM . “With two tournament weeks per year guaranteed, we intend to stage ever bigger events that will attracted poker players at all levels from around the world.” The second of those events, announced in mid- October, will be the APT Macau Championships 2018 to be held at Babylon from 25 April to 6 May during Japan’s Golden Week.
