51 WGM #54 2018/01 wgm8.com C ity of Dreams is teaming up with one of the world’s most celebrated chefs, Alain Ducasse, when its new luxury hotel Morpheus launches in 2018. The collaboration will see an entire floor of the hotel dedicated to two side-by-side Ducasse restaurants and a bar. The unique concept will see City of Dreams become the only resort in Asia to feature two restaurants and a bar by a single chef, providing a brand new dining experience for visitors to Macau. Alain Ducasse at Morpheus will serve up the signature expressions of French contemporary haute cuisine the chef is renowned for. Designed by Jouin Manku, the same designer of Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée haute-cuisine restaurant in Paris, Alain Ducasse at Morpheus will pay tribute to the great tradition of Chinese gardens and will communicate to guests a deep feeling of balance and serenity. It will also display “an extraordinary selection of the most magnificent and noble materials,” according to City of Dreams.
