You might have been locked up in the loony bin for thinking that this game would end up a blockbuster at the beginning of the season. Both of these clubs are in the running to win their division in a year where many unfancied teams in the MLB have shone bright.
I am going to go for the Rays as I think that the American League teams are slightly in front of the National League this year. The American East is particularly strong as every team outside of the Blue Jays (who have still been very competitive) has a winning record. It’s hard to do that when you play so many divisional games so the records of teams in this division are even better than they read on paper.
