Cambodia and Vietnam to host poker events this week

Written by Ben Blaschke

Having had its original mid-year scheduling postponed, Cambodia is finally ready to welcome the Asian Poker Tour to its shores with APT Cambodia getting underway from next Tuesday 20 October.

Located at Sihanoukville’s Queenco Hotel & Casino, APT Cambodia will feature a hefty 17 events with the US$1,100 Main Event getting underway on Friday 23 October at 13:00.

Queenco’s poker room is run by WGM’s good friend and highly experienced poker operator AJ Brock, so we’re expecting a very well run and highly enjoyable week’s action – not to mention the fact that it is located right on the beach!

It’s certainly a busy time for poker in Asia with APT Cambodia following on just a few days after the second Vietnam Poker Cup (VPC2), which starts in the Ho Tram Poker Room at Ho Tram Resort Casino tomorrow.

The inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup in August proved to be a huge success and we’re looking forward to another great event. The US$550 VPC2 Main Event starts this Saturday 17 October at 14:00.
