Fiveweeks beforeGalaxyMacau’s grandopening, I had theprivilege towalk the
propertywith theVice Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group, Mr Francis Lui. I’ve
visited some200casinosall over theworld since I set foot inmyfirstwayback in1986.
And I canhonestly sayGalaxyMacau is in the tophandful. Itmight evenbe the best.
Anyplace that has the audacity to createa43,000 square foot skywavepool (inother
wordsasea in theair!)and then forgoodmeasuredump350 tonsofwhitesandnext to
it tocreateabeachfit for 1,000peoplehasgotmyattention!

澳门银河落成了！“热切期待”一词，如果拿来形容位于路凼的最新澳门银河
综合渡假城的闪亮登场，实在显得黯然失色。如同一个孩子在等待收到朝思暮想的
礼物一样，澳门一直在为银河娱乐集团皇冠上这颗瑰宝的揭幕进行着倒计时。
澳门银河综合渡假城的开幕终于促成了澳门后何鸿燊垄断时代的三足鼎力局
面。首先有了威尼斯人，但大家心知肚明：尽管威尼斯人蔚为壮观，始终是拉斯维
加斯威尼斯人一砖一瓦的克隆；新濠天地作为续集接踵而至，但就像许多电影的续
集一样，怎么说呢，未能捕获观众的心。目前最受关注的是澳门银河。它能否达到
炒作的高度？银河娱乐能否为观众从帽子里变出兔子？
此刻，我在这里作答：能！
澳门银河开幕5周前，我有幸与银河娱乐集团副主席吕耀东先生到这里走走。
自1986年我首次踏进娱乐场以来，曾光顾过的有200多家。老实说，澳门银河是首
屈可数，甚至可能是最好的一家。有胆识构建一个43000平方英尺的空中冲浪池
（换个词说，是空中海洋！），再附加一个350吨白沙打造的可容纳1000人的沙滩，
自然不得不引起我的好奇！
