This afternoon the home crowd will be out in force to cheer on Emma Pooley, one of their many cycling champions. Pooley will start at around 2/1, roughly the same price as her main rival, German Judith Arndt. However, if it wasn’t for Pooley’s home field advantage, Arndt would be a clear favorite, so I am going to back the German to take the gold and give us a nice payout.
