This really is an NRL Friday night blockbuster. Manly and Canterbury are two teams packed with quality players but both need the points tonight. They have had up and down seasons but expect nothing short of a brutal encounter. To add even more intrigue, the defection of coach Des Hasler and big Tony Williams are still in the minds of the Sea Eagles faithful so you can expect the local crowd to give their opponents a hostile reception.
I am going for the Eagles tonight because they are at home. If this game were being played at a neutral venue I would have left it alone. I just think Manly will find a way to crush the life out of the dogs tonight at “Fortress Brookvale”.
