The summer season at Galaxy Macau got off to a Smurfin’ great start with the launch of the elaborate “The Smurfs 2 Summer Village” at the resort’s East Square. Inspired by the upcoming movie, The Smurfs 2, the Summer Village is the perfect place for families to escape the heat for some cool blue fun and merriment from 13 July to 11 August 2013.
Every day from 12:00 to 21:00, the world of the Smurfs erupts into action with engaging live performances and themed parades with mascot appearances that transport family members into a real-life Smurfs kingdom. The festive decorations and colorful Mushroom Houses also provide a delightful backdrop for photos.
Those who email their favorite shots to [email protected] before 11 August will be entered in the “Smurfy Snap Shot” photo contest for a chance to win fabulous prizes, including a complimentary night’s stay at Galaxy Hotel and lots of UA Galaxy Cinemas movie tickets.
For kids and those who are kids at heart, a host of Smurf-themed booths will keep fans of all ages entertained and you can go a little wild with tattoos and face painting. Don’t forget that The Smurfs 2 (3D) movie opens to the public on 1 August 2013 at UA Galaxy Cinemas.
