It hasn’t been a particularly happy tour of New Zealand for the Indian cricket team so far, having lost the One Day Series and been stunned by this burgeoning Kiwi side in the First Test last week. The Indians have a history of under-performing away from home but there is no doubt they boast a far superior side on paper.
They will also take some confidence out of that First Test, having started horribly before staging a remarkable comeback to very nearly win the game. At the end of the day it’s just hard to imagine them losing two tests in a row to New Zealand.
