Inaugural Macau Linshui Palace Folk Culture Festival
Linshui Palace pays tribute to Madame Linshui, originally known as Chen Jinggu, a seer born in the Tang Dynasty who is widely respected as the ‘goddess protector of women and children’. Learn more about the Taoist belief of ‘merciful repentance’ by observing the Inaugural Macau Linshui Palace Folk Culture Festival ceremony and enjoy the parade the following morning.

Feast of Kun Iam
See the Feast of Kun Iam celebrating the goddess’s Enlightenment held in the 1627 temple dedicated to her on Avenida do Coronel Mesquita and look for the laughing Buddha and Lovers’ Tree of intertwined banyan branches. The nearby Kun Iam Ancient Temple and A-Ma Temple also house a statue of the goddess.

Live Boxing in Macao continues on Saturday at The Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena. Fists of Gold II will be an exciting night where two-time Olympic gold medallist and three-time Amateur World Champion Zou Shiming returns to the ring for the first time since his successful professional debut in April. Taipa Flea Market
Taipa Flea Market is easily accessible from Taipa High Street and comprises dozens of stalls selling hundreds of fascinating items! From traditional delicacies, period postcards and stamps to lamps, jade pieces, jewellery, coins, toys and collectibles. Crossroads .Another Dimension. Fun Fishing Boat Cruise
Want to have fun while helping a worthy cause? Embark upon this unique cruise at Doca da Ilha Verde where it will depart for the Inner Harbour, the Sai Van Bridge, Governor Nobre de Carvalho Bridge and Kun Iam Statue before returning. The Glorious Era of Julius Caesar – Military Science and Technology in Roman Republic

Europe has long held a fascination with Chinese culture, dating back as far as the Ming dynasty when missionaries brought Chinese philosophy, art, religion, science and technology back home with them. Dubbed Chinoiserie, this fashion permeated many facets of European life. This exhibition traces the origins of Chinoiserie and its influence in France with over 80 valuable items including paintings, prints, ceramics and tapestries.
