Running from Monday 28 October to Thursday 7 November, this 11-day event is a combination of songs and dances, games, gastronomic delights and multi-cultural customs.

The Cultural Week also features a craft fair in Taipa. Handicraft masters from 10 Portuguese-speaking countries and regions (including China Anhui province, Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Goa, Daman and Diu, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and East Timor) will be invited to the fair to demonstrate their skills and offer their works for sale.

The Portuguese-speaking countries Food Festival will be held at the Sheraton Hotel Feast restaurant with daily lunch specials and a dinner buffet. It features gourmet chefs from five countries with Resident Identity Card holders eligible for a 30 percent discount.

Senado Square will stage a series of exquisite song and dance performances by ensembles from Portuguese-speaking countries and Anhui between 19:00 to 22:30 every night from 29 to 31 October – entertaining participants with live music of different styles. The parade, one of the not-to-be-missed events, will be held at 16:00 on 3 November.
