Renowned as a city of Eastern and Western encounter, choral works blossomed in Macau with the arrival of Catholicism over four centuries ago. Austrian missionary Father Guilherme Schmid, who came to Macau in 1939, left a large body of religious choral works inherited by his Portuguese student Father Áureo Castro and in this concert Coro Perosi salutes them both.
