We’re getting in a day early this week as we prepare for a busy time in the cricketing world. Tomorrow sees two sub-continent sides going head to head with Sri Lanka hosting Pakistan in the First Test of their short two Test series.
We love the look of the locals here. Pakistan hasn’t won a Test in Sri Lanka for eight years and haven’t exactly spent a lot of time preparing for this series given they last played a Test match in January.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka is coming off a historic series win in England and a great win against the powerful South Africans in the Second Test to square their series 1-1. Throw in the fact that they will want to send out retiring veteran Mahela Jayawardene on a high and it all points to Sri Lankan success.
