It’s an crucial Champions League clash in Group B as Liverpool travels to Switzerland to take on Basel. The Swiss side was thumped 5-1 by Real Madrid in their opener while the Reds left it late to beat Ludogrets 2-1 at Anfield but it’s hard to get too excited about the EPL giants.
Liverpool have been awful so far this season and although a win here isn’t out of the question it’s hard to see them finding the back of the net with any great regularity. We’ll give Basel a one goal advantage and stay with them to hold firm from there.
