We noted last week that we were reluctant to place a bet on the fourth cricket Test in Sydney between Australia and India given how even the two teams look on the turning SCG wicket, but a few things have changes to have us leaning towards the touring Indians.
Ongoing injury concerns to a number of players have seen fast bowler Mitchell Johnson ruled out of the Test due to hamstring soreness, while Shane Watson has been struggling with illness all week. It’s still worth noting that India hasn’t won a Test on Australian soil since the 2007/2008 season but with the brilliant Virat Kohli replacing MS Dohni as captain for this Test and a pitch that should suit their spinners we can see them finally taking something from this series. .
We also love the look of the big clash in Italy’s Serie A tonight between Juventus and Inter Milan. These have been two of the most successful clubs in Italy with 48 Serie A titles between them but Inter have endured a slide of late and currently find themselves in 11th spot on the ladder with just five wins from 16 games. They face a tough ask against the unstoppable force that is Juventus, who have found the back of the net 34 times this season while conceding just seven. We expect another dominant performance here.
