Just the one fixture that appeals to us today and it’s Spain’s La Liga where big guns Barcelona look to make amends for Sunday’s shock 1-0 loss at Real Sociedad. Given their rivals La Liga also came unstuck against Valencia, it seems the Christmas break has left these sides a little rusty.
Despite that loss, we expect Barca to come out firing against Elche tonight in the Copa del Rey. Incredibly, the Catalan side has scored 26 goals in their past five games at home and we expect them to add a few more to that tally against a side with just four goals in their past seven outings.
