Take a stroll around any of Macau’s streets during an average day and you’re certain to see plenty of locals out and about with their dogs. Despite a distinct lack of suitable park land in which to let them run, pet ownership is becoming increasingly popular right across Macau so it was no surprise that renowned dog behavior specialist Cesar Milan found his way to our shores for the first time on Saturday night.
Appearing at the Venetian as part of his Love Your Dogs Tour, Millan combined a wonderful night’s entertainment with some very useful tips for local owners – teaching them how to better interact with their pets as well as how to recognize common behavior traits worth recognizing to prevent future problems.
Some lucky owners were even given the opportunity to have their dogs appear on stage! With no pre-trained dogs in the show, a dog casting event was held to select real dogs in order to demonstrate real life situations.
All in all it proved to be a thoroughly entertaining night out and a perfect opportunity for locals to learn a bit more about their furry friends. No doubt we’ll see Cesar Millan back in Macau again soon!
