The women’s World Cup has reached the semi-finals and tonight sees the clash many believe should have been the final – Germany v the United States.
The world’s two top ranked nations will fight it out in Montreal in what should be a gripping battle, but it’s hard to go past this dynamic German side. The USA haven’t been seriously troubled in this tournament but other than a 3-1 win over Australia in their opening match are yet to find their best form.
On the other hand, Germany has scored an incredible 19 goals in their five matches and will take plenty of stopping.
