If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, make sure you pop down to Broadway Macau and take a look at the incredible 3D murals currently on display.
These 15 interactive works of art stretch along a full 60 meters of dedicated wall space, highlighting the history and heritage of Macau in vivid color and stunning detail.
Created by world famous 3D chalk artist Tracy Lee Stum and her team, the 15 murals took three weeks to complete and involved many hours of careful research and design to ensure the theories of geometry and distance were correctly applied so as to give the unique 3D effect. They truly must be seen to be believed.
“Every creation is a learning process and I do enjoy all the works that come across,” said Stum. “I had been to Macau five years ago and have witnessed the rapid change of this international city! I may say the unchanged part is the culture itself. You can see the paintings are based on the cultural festivals and events calendar of Macau.
“From Chinese New Year to Grand Prix Car Racing in November, even though visitors cannot stay in Macau and experience all seasons, by interacting here at Broadway they can still be involved in person.”
