Good Food Guide: LB SuperPollo

Near the pigeon nest park, there is a shop with a bright red exterior that always seems to be overflowing with customers spilling outside. The owner of LB SuperPollo is Spanish, so it is no surprise the signature dish is Spanish roasted chicken. The appearance of the chicken is not really tempting, but it is juicy and very delicious. The sauce, specially prepared by the owner, adds even more charm to the dish. Next is the classic paella. To us the rice is a bit overcooked and not quite the same as our memories of paella. Perhaps they are trying to cater to the local Macau taste! Pizza is also a good choice.

It is crispy, tasty and the ingredients are rich. We recommend the Spanish pizza or the Asian pizza. The Asian pizza tastes like the popular Thai soup Tom Yum Goong, so those who don’t like spicy food be warned! Finally it’s dessert time. We like the traditional Spanish dessert which is made from pineapple, peach, egg pudding and cream. By the way, the shop can only hold around 20 customers so remember to call and make a reservation!
