Vietnam’s Ho Tram Resort Casino and their poker operations partner World Players Entertainment (WPE) have announced that the second Vietnam Poker Cup (VPC2) will be held in the Ho Tram Poker Room from 16 to 18 October 2015.
VPC2 follows on from the tremendous success of the inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup last month, which attracted an impressive maiden field of 64 players and was won by America’s Hai Minh Nguyen.
The VPC is Vietnam’s premier home grown poker event and features buy-ins ranging from US$55 to the US$1,100 High Roller, with the highlight being the US$550 VPC Main Event.
“The inaugural Vietnam Poker Cup was wonderfully received by the players,” said WPE Chief Executive Officer Andrew W Scott. “In announcing VPC2 we are responding to player demand for more professionally run poker tournaments at Ho Tram and living up to our promise to make this a regular event on the Asian poker calendar.
“The VPC is quickly becoming a must-play event for non-Vietnamese passport holders living in Ho Chi Minh City, elsewhere throughout Vietnam and further abroad.”
