Big Jim's weekend wrap

Well, it was nice to back another winner in the golf. Big Lefty Phil Mickelson got the job done for us in China when he finished in a tie for second at the HSBC Championship. It was great to see the American shoot three rounds in the 60s and get back to some of his best form. You have to be patient when betting on golf, but it pays off at the end of the day!

The Indianapolis Colts came away with another inspirational win over a resurgent Miami. The Dolphins have shown some great form in recent weeks but the Colts have continuously proven everyone wrong with their rookie quarterback! Colts coach Chuck Pagano, who continues his fight with leukemia, delivered an emotional speech to his team who’d be in the playoffs if the finals started this week.

Don’t be fooled by the early results in the NBA. Carmelo Anthony lit up the Miami Heat but impressive wins like these in a long season don’t mean much at all. Harden and Lin lead an exciting revamped Houston team but let’s not get too carried away until they start winning consistently.

Manchester United has found its way to the top of the EPL table with an impressive win against the Gunners at Old Trafford. United, Chelsea and City already appear to be putting some space between themselves and the rest of the field with Everton and Tottenham now over two wins away from top spot.

Good luck and good punting.
