The annual Macau International Fireworks Display Contest – universally acclaimed as one of the best of its kind – takes place on the Macau Tower shorefront, this year featuring battles between Spain v South Africa (14/9), Switzerland v Korea (19/9), Portugal v Australia (21/9), Italy v Canada (28/9) and France v China (1/10) in this whizz bang spectacular. A thrilling highlight will be the laser light effects which are a new addition to this year’s contest. The Fireworks Carnival next to Macau Tower also promises to be a real blast! It includes Food, performances and games.
