The upcoming APT Macau event, which was set to be held in the new Poker King Club poker room at the Venetian from 21 to 29 July this year, has been postponed.
The APT released a short statement overnight which read, “Due to impending time constraints and wishing to give players and sponsors sufficient notice, the organizers of APT Macau 2015 have decided to postpone the event to a later date.”
The return of APT Macau, last held at StarWorld in 2013, was only announced in late May and was still awaiting government approval. It is not yet known whether a delay in gaining this government approval is behind the decision to postpone the event.
WGM will keep you updated with further news including any new dates for one of the APT’s most popular stops.
