APT Vietnam final table set!

Written by Ben Blaschke

The APT Vietnam final table is set and the inaugural champion set to be crowned today! After a long and gruelling day on Sunday as the field was whittled down from 60 to 18 – including a money bubble that lasted almost an hour – yesterday proved to be a swift affair with five players eliminated inside the first 40 minutes.

From 18 players having woken up dreaming of glory, only 10 remained inside 90 minutes as the double elimination of Paul Tartak and Kamran Siddiqui left the unofficial final table of 10. And soon after the official final table was set with Korea’s Choi Young Su sent to the rail in 10th.

So after an eventful two hours that saw overnight chip leader Peter Nguyen crash and burn, it is Norbert Koh who takes a narrow advantage into today’s finale with 382,000 in chips – although there are a number of big names joining him today including Bryan Huang, Sam Razavi and David Steicke.
