WGM cleansed the mind and body during a relaxing afternoon at Shine Spa, located at the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central.
Incorporating the five elements of Feng Shui – earth, fire, water, wood and metal, Shine Spa at the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central fuses both eastern and western traditions with couple suites, a hair salon and a room dedicated for manicures and pedicures.
Shine Spa has designed a way for guests to restore their glow and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Located on the 3rd floor, the 1,700 square-meter spa offers 15 treatment rooms. Guest also have access to private changing rooms, a steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and relaxation lounge. There are also six multi-functional beds for reflexology.
Earth
Mineral Stone Massage – a deep massage using mineral substances such as red jasper, crystal and stones. Demineralizing Body Wrap – a sand body scrub followed by a wrap containing geological mud.
Fire
Candle Massage – the candle melts into a warm, sumptuous massage oil while the warmth of the coconut oil and shea butter is drizzled over the body for a more nourished skin.
Liana Detox Body Wrap – a spicy plant body wrap which aids in stimulating one’s circulation and detoxifying the body. It begins with a body scrub to prepare the body for its very own cleansing ritual.
Water
Rain Stick Massage – this essential oil massage treatment using cloves and sandalwood reduces water retention and counteracts fatigue and cold. Hydrating Body Wrap – a skin exfoliation using mother of pearl, this treatment rebalances the hydration of the skin with an aquatic mint.
Wood
Lava Bamboo Massage – this treatment promotes circulation, sensory nerve perception and lymphatic draining.
Nourishing Body Wrap – exfoliation of the entire body with the use of sugar. The rich and creamy softness of a wrap are made with scented fruits and cereal butter to nurture the body.
Metal
Harmonizing Massage – using a 24-carat gold massage oil, this treatment harmonizes energy to reduce blockage. The metal essential oils of basil will help relieve coughs and enhance deeper breathing.
Golden Body Wrap – this treatment is designed to stimulate, beautify and protect the skin with a body wrap that covers the entire body in gold.
