Don’t worry golf fans, I wouldn’t miss giving you the good oil on the US Open. This is clearly my second favorite golf tournament behind the Masters. If it wasn’t for the history and the fact that I know all the holes at Augusta it might even be my favorite. I love the fact that they make the course play so hard. Break par here and you are in with a real chance of winning the tournament. That’s the way it should be.
But enough yapping from me – I suppose you want a tip! At the Open you want tee to green experts. If the puts drop, the puts drop but you want to be putting for birdies not bogies. Don’t be trying to make miracles happen out of the rough at the US Open. For that reason I am going to stick with my old Spanish mate Sergio Garcia to have a top 10 finish. I will also be having a little on him for a top 5 finish and to win his long overdue first major. I will be having a little hard earned on Tiger too, of course. I can’t wait.
