I did have two gripes about this game. The first was why did the NRL schedule a Monday night game this late in the season that has no bearing on the final eight? It’s not the final round of the season and they could have given us better.
The second was why this match was scheduled to be played at the cavernous ANZ Stadium with the prospect of these two awful teams attracting a tiny crowd, but luckily common sense has prevailed and it has been moved back to Parramatta Stadium. There isn’t a lot to like about either of these sides but on home soil and with Jarryd Hayne back from injury I think the Eels can sneak home.
