Manly are off to a reasonable start this season but there were worrying signs in their mistake-riddled loss to the Gold Coast last round. Experience isn’t a problem although we will have to wait and see if some of their old bodies start to wear as the season progresses. I am going for the Tigers tonight because I think the Eagles have made a crazy mistake in taking this game away from fortress Brookvale and move it what amounts to a neutral stadium in Gosford. Obviously financial incentives are behind the move but when clubs start jeopardizing competition points you have to wonder how long this practice will continue.
