It’s been the battle of the European Banks these past few weeks with Deutsche now getting their turn after Barclays hosted their own tournament last week. Obviously the banks have enough cash in the coffers to offer up around US$8 million in prize money.
There are only 70 left players left in the FedEx playoffs after last weekend and there will be plenty of nervous golfers hoping to do enough to stay in the hunt. Rory McIlroy won here last year just in front of Louis Oosthuizen and Tiger Woods. Just behind them on the leaderboard was Phil Mickelson, Dusty Johnson, Brandt Snedeker and Barclays champion Adam Scott. Not a bad line up!
