It’s the first game of the new season as NBA Champions the Miami Heat host the Chicago Bulls in an opening night blockbuster.
Miami will again by the team to beat this year but this is an interesting match-up to start the season. The Bulls were the side that ended the Heat’s long 27-game winning streak last year and although they bowed out in disappointing fashion in the finals, they welcome back star guard Derrick Rose from injury after he missed all of 2012-13.
The Bulls will be fired up for a big showing here and that should be enough for them to cover the spread.
