I can’t stand backing insipid English sportsmen but I can’t let that annoyance stand in the way of a good bet. Out of a bevy of overrated English golfers I consider Justin Rose to be the best of them. I think he has more heart, more skill and more chance of actually getting the job done when it matters than the likes of Donald, Westwood, Poulter and co.
Justin had a good tournament here a year ago with a top 10 finish and was only five shots behind the great Tiger Woods who toyed with them at the course that is simply referred to as “Jack’s Place”.
