You name your sporting poison; I would be amazed if you couldn’t find something exciting to have a bet on this weekend. I can assure you I’m not planning to move away from the TV all weekend. Load up your accounts and come and back a winner.
I am going to keep backing the Heat in the NBA Championship series at the handicap game after game. They won’t want any Game 7 disaster scenarios popping up and I expect them to be at their best. It is frustrating the difference between a side from one game to the next. Miami was terrible in Game 6 against the Pacers but fired up when they needed to and you can safely assume all the big egos of the Heat will be ready to produce as they chase their second title in two years. The $1.45 they are paying to win the Championship seems a reasonable price as well.
The clay court sluggers will keep doing their thing in “Gay Parie”. Things just get better and better and we are faced with the real prospect of two fantastic semis and a fantastic final. It’s a little sad that Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are on the same side of the draw but that is another topic in itself.
The Champions Trophy cricket is getting underway, there is plenty of international football, rugby, ice hockey playoffs, golf, rugby league, Australian Rules football, motor sport … the list just goes on and on.
