The AFL finals draw has been released and a mouthwatering match between Hawthorn and Collingwood will kick things off this Friday night. The Hawks are favorites for the premiership but a surprise win by the Pies in this game could see that all change. The NRL finals draw has also been decided and the Storm, Bulldogs, Sea Eagles, and Rabbits have emerged as the only real contenders for the title. Go the Bunnies!
The US Open tennis has been great to watch and will continue to get better as the serious athletes get down to business in the second week of the tournament. The women’s draw continues to throw up surprises, but if Serena can keep it all together she will lift the trophy. Federer and Djokovic continue on their merry way and hopefully we will witness an epic battle between the gods in the final.
The football action is starting to heat up in the English Premier League with West Ham showing some great form as their crosstown rivals Fulham suffer. Swansea and Everton both came crashing back to reality after a perfect start to both of their seasons. Meanwhile, City has begun to wake up from their premiership hangover with a good 3-1 victory over QPR.
There will be plenty of great sport to sink our teeth into this week with baseball, football, NFL and footy finals from Down Under. Giddy up!
