Broadway Macau is set to celebrate its grand opening on 27 May with Macau’s “Biggest Ever Street Party”. Guests will enjoy a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of fun entertainment including live music, buskers, fire dancers and PediCab singers as well as the chance to sample local delicacies.
The Broadway’s open-air street entertainment district is a first in Macau with more than 40 different types of food and drink available from hawker-style vendors.
Among the highlights at the grand opening will be the interactive 3D mural collection – a series of 14 interactive paintings offering visitors a great chance for some spectacular photos. The collection will be created by a team of seven international artists led by the world-famous 3D chalk artist Tracy Lee Stum.
Formerly known as the Grand Waldo, the property was purchased by Galaxy Entertainment Group in 2013 and has undergone a complete facelift ahead of its opening later this month. Renamed Broadway Macau, it will open at the same time as Galaxy Phase 2 – the two properties the first of eight new resorts to open their doors in Cotai by the end of 2017.
