It’s time for Oktoberfest and there are a number of venues taking part in the festivities this year including Galaxy Macau and Fisherman’s Wharf. But the most successful and the one I like to take part in every year is Oktoberfest Macau in MGM, which this year will be held from 17 October to 26 October. You can experience the true tradition of Munich’s famed festival at VISTA II, MGM Macau – the most iconic Oktoberfest in town.
Furnished with long wooden tables and benches, the VISTA II – covered in a 25-meter long tent – will come alive with the sounds of oompah music thanks to Munich’s rousing Högl Fun Band, who promise to deliver an unforgettable party atmosphere. More than 35,000 guests have enjoyed the party over the years.
For 10 knee-slapping days, you can feast on sizzling Nuremberg sausages, roasted pork knuckles, Sauerkraut (pickled cabbage) and other German specialties while enjoying a stein or two of Löwenbraü lager – specially brewed for this one-of-a-kind gathering. Löwenbräu has been served at every Oktoberfest in Munich since 1810 and is one of only six breweries permitted to serve beer at the festival.
Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out. The entry fee is just MOP$100 per person inclusive of one drink (excluding champagne). Oktoberfest admission tickets and food and beverage coupons are available for sale at the Grande Praça Cafe right now. For enquiries or reservations, please call (853) 8802 3888.
