Privé French Restaurant provides a modern take on French classics and some of the best views in Macau.
Macau is known for its east-meets-west culture and so it is only fitting for Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 to offer delectable French cuisine with an Asian twist. Boasting a new à la carte menu, Privé French Restaurant allows its guests to feast on scrumptious and unique flavors catered by their culinary team, while at the same time feasting their eyes on two of the enclave’s most romantic evening panoramas.
The restaurant’s location atop the hotel provides spectacular views over the bustling river as well as the old city of Macau with the iconic façade of St Paul’s Ruins at the center.
The new à la carte menu offers four starter options, two choices of soup, seven possibilities by way of main course and three dessert options. For the classic dishes, we recommend the Burgundy Style Ravioli of Snails, Slow Cooked Farm Egg with sautéed forest mushrooms, brioche and bacon sauce and Chestnut Soup with toasted bread of duck leg confit and black truffle.
The Executive Chef Jeffrey acquired his professional skills with fine food via wide-ranging experience in several five-star hotels in southern China and Macau. His signature dish is a delicious slow cooked pork belly, which includes truffle potato puree, purple sweet potato chips, spring onion and ginger oil.
