Good Food Guide: Arabian Kebab

Written by The Panda

Tucked away down a little alley in the shopping bazaar of San Malo is Arabian Kebab. As you stroll up to this lovely oasis, you are greeted by the Chef and Manager, Mohamed. There may be a line but Mohamed is a genie at multitasking. He is happy to answer everyone’s questions while cooking up a storm. At Arabian Kebab you have your choice of four different kebabs – chicken, beef, lamb, or the Super Kebab (which is a mix of all three). They come with vegetables and either garlic or hot sauce depending on whether you like your food a little spicy. There are also a few side dishes available, including falafel, if you prefer something vegetarian. As I am writing this I have just finished a Super Kebab and it is a treasure the 40 thieves would be jealous of. The service also passed the test.

“Can I get the Super Kebab with everything in one bag and the plain one in another?” I asked, doing my best to impersonate the high maintenance customer. “Of course, no problem,” replied Mohamed with a smile on his face as he was more than happy to accommodate. Last, but not least, the price. The kebabs range from MOP$25 for a small up to MOP$35 for the large Beef Kebab. And I swear on my three wishes that this is one magic carpet ride you don’t want to miss!
