The Panda recently had a business lunch with an associate from TDM and what better place to eat than the Institute for Tourism Studies (ITF) at the top of the hill near Mong-Há? ITF houses the educational hotel Pousada de Mong-Há and the Educational Restaurant which offers a 4 to 5-star dining experience manned by ITF’s hospitality students. If you haven’t been to the Educational Restaurant, there are plenty of good reasons to give it a go – aside from the students being young and enthusiastic, the pricing structure is also very reasonable. Diners can choose from the à la carte menu or try the quality business lunch set menu for MOP$200 which includes an appetizer, main course and a lovely dessert buffet.
The à la carte menu is a comprehensive one offering a variety of dishes sure to cater to any taste. They include a wide range of seafood options, some delicious chicken and beef dishes, Italian classics such as risotto or spaghetti and a duck salad. Although the staff at the Educational Restaurant are in training, The Panda found the service to be great and the food top quality. It’s also the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Macau for an hour or two!
