Imperial Pacific hits record VIP numbers in Saipan

Written by Ben Blaschke

Casino operator Imperial Pacific saw VIP turnover at its Saipan property rise by a staggering 153 percent in September, setting a new all-time record of US$3.95 billion.

The figure comfortably topped the US$3.2 billion it turned over in April and makes amends for a disappointing August in which turnover dropped to US$1.56 billion.

September’s new high is a staggering result for Imperial Pacific, whose current temporary casino in Saipan boasts just 16 VIP tables and only 48 tables in total.

Imperial Pacific will open its new permanent casino, Imperial Pacific Resort, in February with 300 gaming tables.
