The year of the rabbit: your luck for 2011 |

In 2011 Chinese New Year falls on 3 February, so expect plenty of fireworks on the night of 2 February! Following our tradition set last year, World Gaming once again provides advice on your luck for the upcoming Year of the Rabbit from Master Wang, our resident Chinese Zodiac expert. Whether or not you believe him is up to you, but Master Wang pleads, “ignore my advice at your peril!”

Rabbit (Born: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987)

Last year you had many ups and downs. This year should be an improvement with more positive aspects than negative. Just because it is your year it doesn’t always follow that you will have an outstanding year. However optimistic and clever Rabbits will have a lucky year and fortune is forecast to smile on you. Concentrate on enjoying yourself, laugh off the losses and enjoy the wins which should be plentiful and large.

Dragon (Born: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988)

For the usually lucky Dragon you will find many challenges in the coming year. You need to be strong and disciplined or you could find things go terribly wrong. Pick your spots and use your well known energy and authority to make your mark, but cautiously. On the bright side, you can expect things to become a little easier towards the end of the year.

Snake (Born: 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989)

For the sensitive but decisive Snake everything appears to be on your side this year. Don’t be surprised if you are the luckiest sign of all this year. Last year was a good time to show restraint and if you managed that you will be rewarded this year. It is time to branch out, learn some new games and look to double up your winnings. Take advantage of years like this as they don’t come around that often.

Horse (Born: 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990)

Your money sign remains bright this year. You won’t win all the time but you are in line for a couple of very big wins if you have the courage to follow your convictions. For the impatient and ambitious Horse, don’t get discouraged if you have a few low points as the ups will more than compensate for those times when your luck appears to have gone missing.

Ram (Born: 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991)

The start of the year should continue on as it did last year. Generally for the gentle Ram you should be very happy, lucky and things will go well. Make the most of it and try to win big while things are still in your favour. Your luck may run a bit thin towards the end of the year so capitalise on your good luck early in the year.

Monkey (Born: 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992)

Those born in the year of the Monkey won’t have to work as hard as last year for success. Even though things are looking brighter for the cunning Monkey you might not be as blessed with those hot streaks as you have been in recent years. You just need to be patient (difficult for the Monkey), work towards your goals and you will find that the good days outweigh the bad.

Rooster (Born: 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993)

Last year should have been another great year for the intelligent and honest Rooster. This year you won’t find everything falling in your lap like it did last year but that is not to say things can’t work out for the best. This is a year that you need to consolidate your good fortune and social status and make sure that you don’t do anything foolish to harm your wealth and social position.

Happy days are starting to return to your pack. Last year was a tough one for the loyal and intelligent Dog but things have dramatically turned around. This is a year to be positive and make big changes and take bigger risks. Don’t be afraid to take on the odds as luck and prosperity is on your side.

Pig (Born: 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983)

Last year we predicted that the hard-working Pig would be very lucky but that you needed to keep your money in a safe place. If you managed your money well and didn’t lose all your lucky gains you will be fine. This year again proves to be another one in which you will move consistently forward. You may not be as lucky this year but you can feel secure in taking a gamble.

Rat (Born: 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984)

Last year the Rat’s money sign was damaged and although you worked hard you may have had a rough year. Things are not back to their best in the coming year but at least you are destined to have a better run soon. Rats are opportunists but you should try to start the year conservatively and you will find that your fortunes will start to turn around. Good times are around the corner you just have to wait for your luck to turn.

Ox (Born: 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985)

After a reasonably good year your money sign is shining even more brightly this year. For the well organized Ox it is time to consolidate on all your hard work and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Opportunities require courage so step up and make the best of what this year will offer. Belief is something that you must hold on to.

Tiger (Born: 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986)

For the brave but stubborn Tiger your year in the spotlight comes to an end and it’s time to reflect on the good and bad times and learn some lessons. It’s not the right time to take crazy gambles but things are certainly not gloomy. Put trust in those around you and you should see some positive signs starting to come to fruition later in the year. It’s not going to be a bad year but it will take some hard work.
