Given their respective accomplishments in recent years, it’s surprising that Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka have met just once since 2013, with the Swiss winning in straight sets at least year’s ATP World Tour Finals.
Their career head-to-head stats read 8-7 in Murray’s favor and there is just as little to split them in tonight’s French Open clash. That said, we’re leaning towards Wawrinka. He boasts a strong record at Roland Garros – having won here 12 months ago – and we’re still expecting Murray’s two five-set epics to start the tournament will eventually wear him down.
