Pakistan head into today’s second Test on the verge of winning a series in Sri Lanka for the first time in nine years following their emphatic 10-wicket win in the opening Test last weekend.
That crushing victory gives them all the momentum and it is worth noting too that Sri Lanka’s record at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo is far from impressive with losses to India, England and New Zealand in their past three Tests there. Incredibly, Pakistan head into this game as slight outsiders and in current form those odds look far too good to refuse.
