We’ve focused solely on the NBA today where basketball fans have a huge schedule of 13 games to keep themselves busy. We’ll start in Washington where the Wizards play host to the struggling New York Knicks. Just a few days ago the Knicks became the first New York side to drop 11 in a row and with injuries mounting it’s hard to see how they can even remain competitive. Not just losing, they’ve been on the wrong end of some absolute smashings of late including an 11-point loss at home to today’s opponent on Christmas Day. We expect the Wizards to improve on that one if anything.
In Chicago, the Bulls will be looking to continue a run of 12 wins from their past 14 games against the Utah Jazz – a side plagued by inconsistency so far in 2014/15. Utah has struggled offensively this season and that doesn’t bode well against the sharp shooting of Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler. Bulls to win comfortably.
We love the look of the Golden State Warriors this season. Even some recent injury concerns have done little to slow their progress and they have stood tall when pitted against the NBA’s other big guns on most occasions – most recently in crushing the Raptors 126 to 105 on Friday. Today’s opponents Indiana rank 26th offensively this season and we simply can’t see them being able to keep up with the free-scoring Warriors.
