The Canterbury Bulldogs and Sydney Roosters rekindle their old rivalry in the NRL tonight with the Bulldogs welcoming back two key players in captain James Graham and five-eighth Josh Reynolds. Bit will it be enough to get them the two points? WGM thinks not! Reynolds and halves partner Trent Hodkinson have struggled for form this season while their rivals tonight – Mitchell Pearce and James Maloney – have been highly impressive in recent weeks. The Roosters appear to have too many points in them.
It’s been a tough year for Liverpool but if ever they have reason to lift it is tonight when club legend Stephen Gerrard plays his last competitive game at Anfield. The Reds host Crystal Palace looking to send Gerrard out with a last home win and after a good performance at Chelsea last week we like them for the win.
On Sunday it’s Swansea looking to add another big scalp to the list following last week’s win over Arsenal when they host Manchester City. However, it’s fair to say that City have benefited from the pressure of the title chase being lifted following their 6-0 demolition of QPR last week. City for the win.
