We’ll start the weekend at the Cincinnati Masters where Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka go head to head in a blockbuster quarter-final clash.
Wawrinka beat Djokovic in the French Open final a few months back but we like the look of “The Joker” here. Wawrinka has barely scraped through his two matches here – both in three sets – and has endured a tough few weeks after being at the centre of the Nick Kyrgios sledging storm. Djokovic seems better equipped to produce his best.
The EPL is back again on Saturday for Week 3 and we like the look of Crystal Palace at home to Aston Villa. Palace are many people’s tip to be the surprise packets of the new season and have impressed so far with a 3-1 win over Norwich and an unlucky 2-1 loss to Arsenal in their opening matches.
Sunday we’re off to the NRL as the Gold Coast Titans host the Canberra Raiders. Neither side can make this year’s finals but we predict a high-scoring and entertaining game here. The defense of both sides has been poor to say the least but both can attack so point galore are likely.
