Spain’s Tommy Robredo is enjoying his best ever run at Wimbledon and is into the fourth round, but it’s going to take the performance of his career tonight to go any further. The traditional clay-courter is not only coming off a tough five set win over Jerzy Janowicz, he now faces the great Roger Federer who is yet to drop a set in his three matches so far.
Ironically, Robredo beat Federer in their last meeting at the 2013 US Open but their career record is 10-1 in Roger’s favor and this will be their first meeting on grass which also happens to be Federer’s preferred surface and Robredo’s least. Federer is too short to back outright so let’s go for another straight sets win.
