Who would have thought this Saints side would be flying so high this season after watching the big clubs snatch so many of their players during the summer transfer window? Nine games in they sit second on the EPL table behind only Chelsea and made it two wins over Stoke in the space of a few days with a 3-2 win in the League Cup on Wednesday.
They’ve also proved extremely profitable for WGM so far this season and we’re going to rely on them to provide some more cash tonight when they travel to Hull. The home side has had plenty of problems in front of goal and with Southampton’s miserly defence it’s hard to see them breaking through. Saints for the win.
