Form might be fleeting, but when you’re hot you’re hot and that’s exactly how Billy Horschel has been at the business end of the season as he mounts a challenge to claim the FedEx Cup and its US$10 million top prize.
Much like Rory McIlroy who enjoyed a recent hot streak in the majors, Horschel is playing with supreme confidence right now with a second-placed finish at the Deutsche Bank Championship a fortnight ago followed by a super-impressive two stroke win at the BMW Championship last weekend.
Given that sort of form, and the fact that only the top 30 players in the FedEx standings have qualified for the season-ending Tour Championships starting today, we’ll take a chance and back him to win his second tournament in as many weeks!
